Sensitive skin? Here is what to look for in a wipe

Wipes touch your skin daily — sometimes the most delicate parts of it. If you are prone to irritation, the ingredients list matters more than the brand on the front.
The four ingredients to avoid
- Alcohol — strips natural oils and disrupts the skin barrier on repeat use.
- Synthetic fragrances — one of the most common triggers for contact dermatitis.
- Parabens — preservatives that some studies link to skin sensitivity.
- Strong surfactants (SLS / SLES) — fine for floors, harsh for skin.
What to look for instead
pH balanced (between 4.5 and 5.5 — close to skin's natural pH), dermatologically tested, fragrance-free or with naturally derived essential oil blends in low concentrations, and a short, recognizable ingredients list.
Flushé's formulation choices
Every Flushé wipe is alcohol-free, paraben-free, pH balanced, and dermatologically tested on sensitive skin panels. Our standard formula uses no fragrance; our gentle scented variant uses a low-dose natural extract blend.
